As a matter of fact, this was contained in a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior and signed by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Dr MB Umar.

“Hon. Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen (Rtd) Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau, Ph.D, CFR made the declaration.
